Task briefing:

On January 19, 2023, a journalist with almost 140k followers on Twitter shared an image of a destroyed vehicle amidst a large cloud of smoke and fire. The tweet said: “BREAKING: TTP carried out a suicide attack on a police post in Khyber city of Pakistan that killed three Pakistani police officers.“

The photo is not of the event described by the journalist.

The post dates back to January 19, 2023, and its wording suggests that the event was recent. This means that if the photo appeared on the internet long before this post, the photo used by the journalist is from a different event.

At first, I tried looking up the photo on Google Image Search to no avail. However, Yandex Image Search led me to this article from August 15, 2014, confirming that the journalist used a photo from a different event.
